Curriculum

The curriculum issued by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Education and as may be reviewed from time to time is wholly adopted and fully implemented in our College at both junior and senior secondary levels. Consequently, we register our students in the exit classes at the two levels respectively for the following certificate examinations:

  1. Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) – in two versions; one organized by the National Examinations Council (NECO) and the other by the Kwara State Ministry of Education.
  2. Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) – in two versions; one organized by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and the other by the National Examinations Council (NECO)

Curriculum Enrichment

Because of our dual mandate to teach both Western and Islamic education to our students, adding the following further enriches the national curriculum on education:

  1. Qur’an memorization
  2. Arabic language (conversational)
  3. Fiqh

While both Qur’an memorization and Conversational Arabic are taught to both day and boarding students during weekdays, boarders learn the two subjects more intensely along with fiqh while attending the weekend madrasah.
